IC physical contact physical affection will depend on who and the circumstances, general physical contact is a go for it but the reaction will depend on the circumstances because, y'know, even though he won't like it, marc isn't a totally unreasonable human being. mind reading canonically, this does not turn out well for a lot of characters that try it. marc's mind is an absolute fucking mess due to the egyptian moon god thing and he's well aware of it — meaning, he has some defences (i use this term very loosely). that said, marc canonically considers himself to have a "weak mind" (and truthfully, he's very easy to manipulate), so depending on the character in question, i'm very happy for this to turn out badly for marc! just hmu + let's chat. romance marc likes to think of himself as a loner (he's not, he's just SAD AND LONELY) abd subsequently pushes a lot of people away and tends to be quite difficult to get along with, so romance in and of itself requires a lot of work. depending on canon point/mental state, it's going to range from an IC hard no through to a yeah, maybe. 95% of the time, marc is not going to make the first move. shipping yes — marlene, frenchie, tigra, scarlet, gena (jake) maybe — frank, og west coast avengers crew, layla (616 / mcu), wanda, nat no — reese, bushman, badr, jeff (which jeff? all the jeffs, even 8-ball (sorry jed) ), any underage characters. for cross-canon, 25+, m/f and m/m both fine for cross-canon, but it's going to require build-up. nb. not listed and on a shipping or smut meme? just fucking go for it bro. my other caveat is that the majority of MK's villains tend towards obsessive (and marc has never tended towards normal with them, either). whilst bushman et al sit as NOs for shipping, i'm not opposed to exploring their fucked-up dynamic sexually, but it'd come with a whole lot of baggage, negativity, and violence. fighting fuck yeah. injuries or death injuries — absolutely yes. marc is not a graceful fighter and he tends to end a lot fights very bruised, bloody and in need of SOME DEGREE of medical attention. death — also yes, but with plotting and communication. the long and short of it is that i'm v. open to it and marc wouldn't expect to stay dead & so operates with a high degree of recklessness. canon point flexible! i'm pretty comfortable with most of MK's publication history — preferred runs are moench/sienkiewicz, huston/benson et al, but i defult to mackay (circa-fist of khonshu v2). open to others with the exception of bemis and bendis because fuck that shit, man. OPT-OUT moon knight comes with a boat load of content warnings, primarily related to mental illness (in particular DID, however the very fictional moon god aspect of canon is said to be the reason for marc's DID presenting atypically), violence, death and religion. i have a screened opt-out post located here.
