Her back is to the mirror — her head turns just enough to face him, but occasionally her eyes dart over towards the window on the other side of her. There's the occasional passerby ( completely apathetic to the fact that the building someone was murdered in is lit and there are people inside, apparently ), but it's quiet otherwise. Old habits just die hard. ]
